- Dredging Efficiency:The Cutter Suction Dredger boasts impressive dredging efficiency due to its powerful hydraulic cutter. The rotating cutter loosens the sediment, allowing the centrifugal mud pump to suction and transport it effectively.
- Versatile Operation: This dredger offers versatility by combining mechanical and hydraulic systems. It can move forwards and backward, providing flexibility in dredging operations.
- Anchoring System: The Cutter Suction Dredger utilizes two traverse anchors, positioned on the left and right sides of the hull. These anchors enable the dredger to swing and maintain stability during dredging activities.
- Material Transportation: Once the mud pump sucks in the loosened silt, it is transported through the mud pipe. The mud is then discharged through the mud discharge pipe, ultimately reaching the designated mud dumping area.
- Long-Distance Transportation: In cases where the transportation distance is extensive, the dredger can rely on cabin pumps or relay pumps installed within the hull to facilitate relay transportation, ensuring efficient movement of sediment over longer distances.
